Biography:

Wanda Maximoff, originating from Sokovia, is a powerful character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Orphaned alongside her twin brother Pietro by a Stark Industries missile, she developed a deep resentment towards Tony Stark and the Avengers.

Initially manipulated by HYDRA, Wanda underwent experimentation involving the Mind Stone, granting her reality-altering and telekinetic abilities. She and Pietro joined Ultron, but later defected to the Avengers, fighting alongside them against Ultron's forces.

Wanda's powers continued to grow, fueled by grief and trauma. The loss of Pietro during the battle against Ultron, and later the death of Vision (the android she loved) at the hands of Thanos, significantly impacted her mental state.

In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Wanda, consumed by her desire to be reunited with her fabricated children (created during the Westview anomaly), fully embraces her role as the Scarlet Witch. Driven by the Darkhold's corrupting influence, she seeks to steal America Chavez's power to travel the multiverse, demonstrating a ruthless and destructive obsession.
